Welcome to The Charles Group
The Charles Group is a full service agency focused on strategy, design, media, content and technology. As the company is growing so quickly, they needed a full rebrand and a redesign of the website. Once the new look and feel was established, I have taken the lead on translating that vision and designing the new website.
UX on TCG
With the goal of attracting potential clients and employees, we want to make sure we include clear paths to what they want to learn about TCG before signing up. We interviewed current employees and a client that use to work with us about their priorities when visiting the website. We had them walk through the current website to analyze problems they encounter, opinions, and what it is that they are looking for.

The website incorporates two main flows: Start a project or apply for a job with TCG. In order to influence conversion, users can browse the list of job opportunities, walk through TCG’s case studies, read articles on what’s currently in conversation, and learn about the company, culture and services. We also simplified the sign up forms so it’s transparent for both the users and internal team.
Animations
The Charles Group's new vision of the brand is referred to as New Wave Nostalgia.

Applying post-modern contrast and harmonies, as well as geometric shapes, isometric patterns, and figures that mold and contort, this style hearkens back to the dawn of digital while embedding itself in a futuristic utopia. We had the freedom to play with the animations that utilizes that vibrancy.
